Crossing the old Milwaukee1 viewsICE 6052 slows to crossover the Illinois Railway trackage which runs from Flagg Center on the BNSF to Rockford. Once the Milwaukee pulled out of town the line in the foreground was run by BN and eventually BNSF up to the ICE tracks. Illinois Railway took over the operations for BNSF and ICE has trackage rights to the right of this picture up to and thru Rockford and on to Wisconsin.milepost56Apr 15, 2024
