History Fading
The DPUs of this BNSF Railway manifest-train slam by as it makes its way south through Cortez California on the Stockton Subdivision. The Warbonnet is one of few that lasts today in its Super Chief-inspired paint scheme. Behind it is a unit wearing 'Heritage II' paint scheme which is hybrid of Santa Fe's Warbonnet and Great Northern's Empire Builder schemes. Both locomotives are General Electric C44-9W's which is the power of choice on BNSF's high-speed trains
