It was built in 1870's, and serviced narrow gauge equipment. The Burnham Shops eventually became known as one of the best in the country.
This U.P. shop continues to do everything from full maintenance to complete rebuilds and modifications of their locomotives. The tracks on the right lead to the turntable, load-testing, and the shops. The tracks below are generally used as storage for retired equipment.RI 900Apr 28, 2024
