MEC U25B #228 + MEC (Guilford) U23B #281

The Guilford era on the D&H dawned with high hopes and a bright splash of color, as exemplified by MEC U25B #228 and freshly repainted ex-D&H U23B #281, idling at the William St end of the North Yard in Buffalo NY. The units had apparently been used as pushers on a heavy westbound movement over Attica Hill.
