Eastbound D&H Sea-Land doublestack train SLN-8 struggles up Attica Hill with two B&M bluebird GP38-2s bracketing an ex-D&H (nee-RDG) GP39-2 in fresh Guilford paint. SLN-8's circuitous CSX-B&P-D&H-NYS&W routing and varied motive power assignments were a joy to Western NY railfans. The train carried the symbol DTV8 while utilizing trackage rights over Conrail's Southern tier Line between Buffalo and Binghamton.
