High Green on Sandpatch1 viewsClouds of blue diesel exhaust testify to the effort involved in moving tonnage up Sandpatch grade. A mixed quartet of second generation geeps, representing all three Chessie System component roads, shatters the morning stillness of nearby Meyersdale PA as they struggle relentlessly toward the summit. The Clear signal indication is certainly a welcome sight to the crew.
