B&M 315 at West Susquehanna PA20 viewsAn eastbound D&H train led by Boston & Maine #315 passes under the Erie coal tower at West Susquehanna PA, a relic of a much earlier era. The train will proceed east to a connecting track at Lanesboro PA where it will return to home rails via a complicate switchback maneuver at Jefferson Junction, necessitated by the construction work being done at the Belden Hill tunnel site to accommodate double-stack container traffic. This would be the last hurrah for the old D&H line across Ararat Summit.
